Luis Raúl is a photojournalist and photographer, currently employed by The Walt Disney Company. He started his post-graduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico at Utuado in the Humanities Department, where he completed 42 credits in his first academic year before transferring to the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo. He graduated cum laude from the campus’ Department of TV & Radio Communications in 2016, majoring in a bachelor of arts with a double emphasis in Photography and Strategic Communications.

He published many articles for the newspaper Metro Puerto Rico during his practicum, covered field events, concerts and contributed to the paper’s online millennial-targeted website, El Calce. Professionally, Luis Raúl held the position of Communications Chairman of Logia Yokahu 506, youth organization of the Order of the Arrow of the Boy Scouts of America, managing social platforms and its bulletin. He also served as the camp photographer of Camp Guajataka of the Puerto Rico Council of the Boy Scouts of America. As a student, he excelled in photography, script writing, TV and radio broadcast, multimedia and creative writing and style.

Luis Raúl is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and the Disney Alumni Association.

He currently resides in Kissimmee, Florida.
